Skin Care

Our skin has it’s own mind and shows everything. Stress, shame, hormonal imbalance, excesses, anger, harmony, you name it! That’s why it is so important to work from the inside out as well as from the outside in by stimulating the skin’s functions. Mindfulness practices, being out in nature, good nutrition, digestion and exercise, healthy relationships, finding stillness and meaningful tasks are all part of our beauty, vibrancy and glow.

At the Blue Buddha Studio we work with Dermalogica, the world’s leading professional product line. Dermalogica products are formulated to deeply care for the health of the skin and provide visible results. The Dermalogica Company continuously researches ways to refine their products and signature treatments as well as formulates new products. Claudia has trained and continues to study with Dermalogica’s advanced skin repair therapists since 2011 to provide you with a high standard service. Your skin type and individual needs will be aptly addressed through cleansing, correct exfoliation, moisturizing and home care. Dermalogica carries product lines for sensitive and sensitized skin, oily and acne prone skin, aging skin and hyper pigmented skin. Products from all lines can be used to accommodate your specific needs. Best results are achieved with regular facial treatments in the studio, also because some highly active products are only administered in the therapy room, and with good, solid home care.

“What is this mysterious pull that beauty has on us? Why do beautiful people attract us, - or, to put it another way, why do you become such a powerful magnet for people and opportunities when you are beautiful? The reason beauty draws us near is because it arises from love, which is itself the most nourishing and desired force in life. Beauty is the consequence of love, and therefore announces the presence of love, which we are ultimately drawn to.” (Susan Kurz, “Awakening Beauty”).
